Profhilo Injectables - What is Profhilo?

Profhilo is a pure hyaluronic gel injection which stimulates 4 different types of collagen and elastin. The results last 6-9 months. HA is a hydrophilic, which means it draws and holds water from your body, so profhilo acts as a hydrator rather than a filler. The effect takes place within 3-5 days of a treatment.

Two treatments are highly recommended to get maximum results. The treatments are spaced 4-5 weeks apart. The maximum effect of Profhilo is usually seen 2 months after the second treatment.

How Does Profhilo Work?

Once injected, Profhilo spreads evenly under the skin, acting as a hydrating booster rather than adding volume. It encourages the body to produce four types of collagen and elastin, improving skin tightness and smoothness. Results are usually seen within 3–5 days, with the full effect appearing about two months after the second session.

A course of two treatments, spaced 4–5 weeks apart, is recommended for best results. The benefits typically last 6–9 months.

What to Expect During Treatment

What do Profhilo Treatments Involve? Profhilo comes in a 2mls syringe treatment and takes 20 minutes.

Mild redness or small bumps at injection sites may appear for a few hours and fade quickly.

Face Treatments - One ml of Profhilo is injected into 5 injection points on each side of the face. Profhilo is injected just below the skin's surface. After injection it disperses quickly beneath the skin to improve hydration. Profhilo is absorbed within a 2cm radius of its injection site. There is no bruising, swelling or downtime. You may have some redness at the injection sites for a few hours.

Neck Treatments - Two mls of Profhilo are injected into your neck, targeting the areas where the skin is the thinnest and where you have the most lines. Treatment takes 20 minutes. Allow 24 hours downtime for neck treatments. This is because your neck skin is so thin and delicate, you will have raised areas at each injection site on your neck. You might get a tiny bruise at one or two of the injection sites which can be covered easily with concealer.

The neck rejuvenation is amazing but is not going to permanently tighten or lift your neck like neck surgery would.

A single course of Profhilo consists of 2 injectable treatments, four weeks apart.
After the course, you can expect to see:
Intense hydration / Glowing skin/ Reduced fine lines / Smoother, tighter skin
Courses of two treatments can be repeated every six months or as needed to maintain results.
Patients with very dry or mature skin may require 3 treatments to achieve their desired results.
