Permanent Makeup

Frequesntly asked Questions

It’s normal for the treated area to flake or peel during healing. Some clients experience heavy flaking and fading, while others see only mild changes. Skin types vary, so healing differs for everyone. The colour may look uneven or “gappy” at first, but this balances out at your top-up session. In some cases, an extra top-up may be needed, especially if we went lighter initially to ease client anxiety.

Immediately after treatment, the area may appear slightly swollen and darker than expected. This will fade over several days. Full healing takes around 4–6 weeks, allowing the pigment to settle and the true colour to appear. Detailed aftercare instructions are always provided.
Most clients describe the sensation as mild. Thanks to modern equipment and advanced numbing products, discomfort is minimal - many compare the eyebrow treatment to having their brows threaded.
This varies from person to person. While pigment molecules remain in the skin for years, visible colour can fade over time. Factors like age, skin type, pigment shade, and sun exposure all affect longevity. Lighter colours tend to fade faster and may need earlier touch-ups. Colour boosts are available at a reduced rate to keep your results looking fresh.
